Article number: 103360 / 3219338
Ingredients
Quantity: 15 to 20 cookies, if you make a variety of sizes
- 180 grams unsalted butter
- 150 grams sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 300 grams flour
- Pinch of salt
- 100 g white chocolate
- Sprinkles sugar to decorate
Instructions
- 1Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until these ingredients have been incorporated into the mixture.
- 2Add the flour and salt and mix until you have a firm dough. Shape the dough into a flat slab and wrap it in film; leave to rest in the fridge for at least one hour.
- 3Roll out the dough on a workbench that has been dusted with flour until it is 4 to 5 mm thick. Cut out the cookies and arrange them on a baking tray that has been lined with grease-proof paper. Arrange cookies of similar size next to each other on the same baking tray so that they bake evenly.
- 4Bake the large cookies for 10 to 12 minutes at 180 °C (top and bottom heat) or until the edges are golden brown. The small cookies only need 8 to 10 minutes at 180 °C.
- 5Put the white chocolate into a disposable plastic piping bag and hang it in a glass of hot water to melt the chocolate. Once the chocolate has melted, cut off the tip of the piping bag.
- 6Decorate the cookies as you like. While the chocolate is still soft, you can sprinkle granulate sugar or sprinkles over the cookies as extra decoration. Let the chocolate harden before serving the cookies.
Storage
Will keep for at least 2 weeks in a closed container.
